At 10:30 learn how to listen to the trees through the lens of Indigenous stories and songs.  Hear the Epic Tale of the Ash Tree and witness an offering to The Ash. We suggest a blanket for children and your chair for adults. The Reading Room Guelph will have books to enjoy.

✨🐝Enchanted Fairyland: Art and Nature Festival
Explore the garden and go on a fairy scavenger hunt to discover the fairies’ nature secrets. Create a treasure to take home in the guided crafting space. Dress up as a fairy, gnome, insect or another garden creature for the 12:30 costume parade. Enter a homemade creation to the fairy house contest. Wander through the nature-themed art sale. Purchase a plant at the native plant sale. Pollination Guelph, Guelph Enabling Garden, CMHA Spark of Brilliance, The Art of Soil Collective, and more of our community friends will be there.

 "UNDER THE MAGIC ASH"
Family-Friendly Saturday Storytelling events.

Hero Trevor BartonWe're in the beautiful  Enabling Garden under the Magic Ash. That Ash Tree has amazing stories to tell, including ones of survival, with tribulations ranging from attacks by Emerald Ash Borers, to axe-throwing players, to hardworking beavers. Its survival includes the remarkable role that Trevor Barton played. In July 2022, GGS dubbed Trevor, a Super Hero, with cape and all.
